“It takes one to stand in the darkness alone, it takes two to let the light shine through.” Dr. Peter Levine.

Adult Counselling

I offer in-person and telehealth Adult Counselling for those experiencing challenging thoughts, feelings and behaviors, such as: mood, anxiety, depression, disrupted attachment, trauma or childhood trauma.

For those interested in a Somatic Approach, “Bringing the Body into Practice, as an orientation, understands the body as a historian of one’s life and the holder of legacies of historical, trans-generational, relational and early attachment, and socially perpetuated traumas” Dr. Lisa Mortimore. Our bodies hold the history of our experiences. Within the safety of a trusting therapeutic relationship, new ways of knowing emerges, bringing more coherence to our stories. This process fosters our ability to process challenging experiences, bringing more organization and integration to our mind and body.

Please note: I do not provide Couples Counselling or Alcohol/Drug Addictions Counselling.
